People undertaking the Fundamental Records Management training package will receive a 10% discount on the full cost of all 3 courses.

TRAINING PACKAGE OBJECTIVE

This 2-day training package, made up of 3 distinct in-person training courses, will provide participants with knowledge of fundamental records and document management concepts and how to translate these into practical solutions in the workplace.

The training covers records and document management principles, plans, processes, tools and practices and how these combine to form a Records Management Program, as outlined in the Australian Records Management Standard AS ISO 15489.

In addition the Keyword Classification Course that forms part of this training package will provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to use a keyword thesaurus, such as Keyword AAA (KAAA) or Keyword for Councils (KfC), to classify documents and create file titles.  Building upon this knowledge, the practical Records Disposal course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to establish a Disposal Program for their organisation.

This training package is therefore suitable for those new to Records, those who just want to refresh their basic Records and Document Management skills, or those who want to better understand how their work fits into the broader Records and Document Management picture.
